public class SelectableJPopupMenu

extends javax.swing.JPopupMenu

JPopupMenu with working selection of certain elements in the item list. JPopupMenu.setSelected(Component) does not work as one expects. This class defines a replacement method which does the job. It's actually a hack. The method setSelectedItem(Component) takes the currently selected item and emulates pressing the "cursor down" key enough times so that the wanted element is selected.

setSelectedIndex

Select the element at the given index.

Parameters:

selidx - Index to select or -1 if nothing should be selected.

setSelectedItem

public void setSelectedItem(java.awt.Component selitem)

Select the given item. If the menu does not contain the given item, the selection is cleared.

Parameters:

selitem - Item to select or null if no item should be selected.
